Existing-system assessment
Send details of a damaged, difficult-to-operate or incomplete shopfront, entrance door, roller shutter or grille. The first review determines whether an assessment can be offered and what information is needed before any repair scope is agreed.
What to send
- Property postcode and full address.
- Photographs showing the whole system and close-ups of the issue.
- System type, approximate age and manufacturer if known.
- A clear description of the fault and when it began.
- Whether the opening is secure and safe to approach.
- Normal access hours and any urgent trading impact.
Safety first
Do not continue operating a shutter, door or glass element that appears unsafe, is detached, has exposed electrical parts or could fall or trap someone. Keep people away and use an appropriate emergency service where there is immediate danger. Submitting a web form does not create an emergency attendance commitment.
Assessment and quotation
A repair price cannot be confirmed from a page or photograph alone. The written scope should identify the observed issue, proposed work, replacement parts if known, access requirements, price, VAT basis, attendance or delivery charges, programme, exclusions and any warranty offered on the repair.
