Compare made-to-measure shopfront systems for retail, hospitality, office and other commercial entrances. The collection includes framed aluminium, glass-led and timber options. Each material creates a different balance of sightlines, character, maintenance, glazing area and door configuration, so the correct choice should be based on the premises and operating needs.

A shopfront quotation should define the measured opening, frame or glass arrangement, entrance door, glazing, ironmongery, finish, thresholds, interfaces with shutters or signs, delivery and installation responsibilities. Where planning, landlord approval or building-control input may be relevant, responsibility for checking and obtaining approval must be agreed before manufacture.

The examples below are starting points, not fixed-size stock products. Select a system to understand its intended application, then send the property postcode, photographs and approximate opening dimensions through the enquiry form. We will use those details to identify the next step for survey and specification.

Which shopfront material should you compare?

  • Aluminium: a framed system with flexible door, glazing and finish arrangements for many contemporary commercial frontages.
  • Toughened glass-led: prioritises clear display visibility and a minimal visual approach; glass, fittings and manifestation are project-specific.
  • Timber: supports traditional proportions, painted or stained finishes and detailed joinery where the property or brand calls for that character.

Design the entrance, frontage and closure together

The customer entrance should not be treated as an afterthought. Door position, clear opening, threshold, closer, handles, locking and daily traffic need to work with the frame or glass layout. If a shutter, automatic operator, fascia or sign is required, allow for its guides, housing, power, sensors, fixings and maintenance access during the same design conversation.

Information that produces a clearer quote

Provide full-width photographs from inside and outside, approximate opening dimensions, the business use, preferred material, door arrangement, colour direction, display needs and any landlord or planning information. A good written quote identifies inclusions and exclusions as clearly as the visible components. It should also state price, VAT basis, delivery, installation, programme, approvals responsibility and any project-specific warranty.
