Description
Glazing for separate frontage openings
A multi-bay aluminium shopfront arranges glazing across separate openings for premises with several frontage bays. The bays remain distinct parts of the frontage rather than forming one uninterrupted glazed opening. This configuration is supplied and installed.
The multi-bay layout
Fixed glazed panels sit within individual openings, separated by sections of the surrounding building. The layout follows the individual bays, distinguishing it from a straight frontage contained within one opening.
Frame, glazing and door
The aluminium frame is available in all RAL colours, including red. The glass is 8.8 mm laminated glass, and the product includes one single-leaf aluminium door. The lower panels are plywood with a metal sheet.
Size and panel options
The shopfront is available with glazed panels 2000 mm × 1500 mm, as well as made-to-measure panels. These dimensions apply to each glazed panel, not the whole shopfront.
Supply and installation
This product is offered on a supply-and-install basis. Services include a site survey, removal of the old shopfront, installation and locks. Nationwide coverage is available.
Installation timing
The lead time is 1–3 weeks from the day the deposit is paid to the end of installation, depending on the project and our workload.

What to have ready for a multi-bay quote
Multi-bay frontages are measured opening by opening. When you request a quotation, it helps to have ready: how many separate openings the frontage has; the width and height of each opening; which opening the door should sit in; whether the old shopfront is still in place; the frame colour you want (RAL). We confirm the final measurements at the site survey.
